Charlie Furbush (Sophomore, P/1B - South Portland, Maine) was named the North Atlantic Conference Co-Player of the Week for the week ending April 23, 2006. Furbush shares the stage with Justin Spencer (Senior, CF - Brewer, Maine) of Husson College.

In four appearances this week, Furbush picked up two wins over Elms and two saves (USM, Becker). In 7.2 innings of work, the sophomore struck out 13 batters, allowed no hits, no runs and no walks. At the plate, Furbush hit 2 triples, scored 5 runs and added an RBI and 3 walks on the week.

Wade Oliver (Freshman, OF - Owls Head, Maine) earned Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season.

Oliver went 6-for-10 with 3 runs and 3 RBI including a double, a triple and a home run. The freshman provided the game winning run in game 2 against Elms with a walk-off home run in the 8th.
