Standish, ME - The SJC women's soccer squad continued its
offensive production and stingy defense with an 8-0 win over
visiting Rivier College. FY Mikayla Call
(Portland, ME) and SO Heidi Stucki (Oakland, ME)
each netted a pair of goals for St. Joe's. The Monks are now 10-0,
6-0 GNAC while Rivier stands at 2-7, 1-5 GNAC.
St. Joe's got to work scoring early and often on Saturday,
recording their first goal less than four minutes into the action
and their last goal in the 52nd minute. Six different players
scored and the Monks attempted 22 shots and took 8 corner kicks.
