PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Johnson & Wales University (3-1, 1-0 GNAC) rallied past Saint Joseph's College (4-4, 1-1 GNAC), 12-9, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Wildcats held a 4-2 after the first quarter, but grad Nathaniel Girardin (Brunswick, Maine) scored three goals in the second stanza to help the Monks claim a 7-6 edge going into the break.

Unfortunately, halftime broke the Monks' momentum, as JWU netted five unanswered goals in the third period and added another to start the fourth to claim a 12-7 advantage with 13:48 to play.
