STANDISH, Maine – Five student-athletes – Mollie Verreault (Scarborough, Maine), Madison Pelletier (New Gloucester, Maine), Sadie Tirrell (Naples, Maine), Paige Connery (Tyngsboro, Mass.), and Taylor Owen (Wakefield, Mass.) from the Saint Joseph's College softball program have been selected to the College Sports Communicators' 2023-24 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, as announced by the organization Tuesday.
To be honored, student-athletes must have reached sophomore status, be a starter or major contributor, and have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 18. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the link provided below.
