BOSTON, Massachusetts – Saint Joseph's College (0-3-1, 0-0-1 GNAC) fell to Emmanuel College (2-2, 1-0 GNAC), 1-3, in GNAC men's soccer action on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Saints netted the game's first goal in the 20th minute on Joe Anderson's penalty kick. The Monks defense remained strong and held off the Saints until the 47th minute when Fred Labossiere made the game 2-0. Rion Dos Santos countered  Saints goal in the 64th minute with a penalty kick goal in the 68h minute of play. 

TEAM STATS:

Emmanuel held the lead in shots (14-12)  while the Monks held the lead in corner kicks (8-4). 

THE KEEPERS:

Liam Foley recorded five saves for the Monks in the losing bid while Emmanuel goalkeeper  Aristidis recorded four. 

GAME NOTES:

• Rion Dos Santos led the Monks with four shots
• The Monks are now 15-4-1 all-time versus Emmanuel College
