Sewanee, TN-On Friday night, the St. Joseph's women's volleyball team fell to the University of the South Sewanee in a non-conference match on the road. Despite a valiant effort, the Monks were defeated with set scores of 17-25, 14-25, and 14-25.
Sewanee pulled ahead in the first set with a strong offensive performance, totaling 10 kills and hitting .241, compared to St. Joseph's 7 kills and a hitting percentage of -.04. The second set saw Sewanee maintain their momentum with 14 kills and a .233 hitting percentage, while the Monks notched 4 kills and a hitting percentage of -.154.
