Biography

2014:  Played in two games as a sophomore midfielder…saw most of his time on the field as an outside midfielder…dealt with an injury early in the season that kept him off the field the remainder of the season.

2013: Played in nine contests as a freshman defender.

High School: Four-year starter at Mt. Ararat High School for soccer…selected as a team captain his senior year…helped guide his team to the State Championship and earned First Team All-KVAC honors as a senior…also played five years of premier for Seacoast United…appeared in the Regionals on three occasions, twice in West Virginia and once in Pennsylvania.

Personal: Daniel Purinton, born in Portland, Maine…son of Carol and Randy Purinton...majoring in Business Management…actively involved in Campus Ministry and has worked at Hannaford for over two years.
