2022: Played in 27 games as a freshman, starting in 18 of those. He batted .383 on the season and .407 in conference, hitting three doubles and driving in nine runs. His .422 on base percentage contributed to 11 runs scored, and two bases stolen. He also added six innings pitched on the season in four appearances. He had a .979 fielding percentage on the season. April 11th against Colby-Sawyer, he was 3-4 on the day with a double, two runs scored and one RBI, en route to a 9-4 victory.

High School: Played baseball and ice hockey at East Catholic High School…four-year varsity starter...selected as a team captain his senior year, when he batted .435 and led the program to a CIAC High School Baseball Championship...one-year varsity starter for the hockey program...played club for Team Connecticut Baseball for three years and the Shoreline Breakers for two years...also played for Post 62 Legion for six years...listed on the Academic Honor Roll and a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Michael Allen Wearne Jr., son of Stephanie and Michael Wearne Sr...has three siblings: Lindsey, Luke, and Katherine.
