2022-23: One of two SJC players to start all 29 games…Averaged a team-high 28.0 minutes per game…Netted 9.1 points with 4.1 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per contest…Shot 45.0% (103-229) from the field, 43.6% (34-78) from beyond the arc, and 83.3% (25-30) from the FT line…Led the team in assists (118), assists average, steals (60), and steals average…Netted at least 10 points in 10 different games…Scored a career-high 19 points versus Anna Maria (2/8/23) and Emmanuel (2/11/23)…Delivered a personal-best nine assists in a win over Anna Maria on January 3rd, 2023…Listed on the GNAC All-Tournament Team and garnered GNAC All-Academic honors for the second consecutive season.
2021-22: Played in 18 games as a sophomore guard…averaged 5.4 points with 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game…shot .463% (38-82) from the floor, .269% (7-26) from behind the arc, and .789% (15-19) from the charity stripe…averaged 20.6 minutes per contest, while being third on the team in steals with 30 on the season…scored 11 points on 4-10 shooting while also adding eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals in a home triumph against Anna Maria on January 18th…adding 11 points on 5-9 shooting as well as three rebounds and four 4 assists in a loss against Emmanuel on February 3rd…scored a career high 13 points on 4-8 shooting in a win against Norwich, she also added four steals and three assists on February 7th.
2020-21: In her freshman season, Howe would average 4.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game...she played in all six games and started in four...Howe’s best performance was in a 77-32 win over UMaine Augusta, where she scored seven points along with five rebounds and four assists...later on that season, Howe scored five points with three rebounds and three steals in a 59-50 win over Colby.
Why Saint Joseph's? Because of the outstanding nursing program and the opportunity to continue my basketball career.
High School: Played basketball and soccer at York High School…Four-time Western Maine All-Conference, four-time Seacoast All-Star, and four-time team MVP…Selected as a McDonald's All-Star and listed on the Western Maine All-Defensive Team as a senior…Three-time Seacoast All-Star for soccer…Member of the National Honor Society, listed on the Academic Honor Roll all four years, and Western Maine Academic All-Conference honoree…Played club for Bluewave for five years.
Community Service: Volunteered at soccer camps, basketball camps, and a local nursing home.
Personal: Nina Camilla Howe , daughter of Steve and Camilla Howe…Has one sister, Tara Howe.
