2017-18: Played in 19 games in her first season at Saint Joseph’s…tallied 18 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and two blocked shots…drained a three-pointer in her first game as a Monk, an 80-53 win at Maine Maritime Academy on November 15th…pulled down four rebounds with three points in a lopsided victory over Rivier University on December 9th.

Prior to Saint Joseph’s: Played at Southern Maine Community College for two seasons…averaged 5.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as a sophomore.

High School: Played three years of varsity basketball for Spruce Mountain…made Second Team junior and senior year...also earned All-Academic junior and senior year…also played soccer and softball.

Personal: Vanese Lynn Barnes, born in Farmington, Maine…daughter of Carrie Barnes...majoring in Elementary Education.
