Jamie Collins was named the first Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Saint Joseph's during the 2020-2021 academic year. Collins will be tasked with designing and implementing a strength and conditioning program that will accommodate every student-athlete on all 21 athletic teams.

Collins previously was an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of New England and served as Interim Coordinator for a three-month stretch during the 2019-2020 academic year. Prior to his time at UNE, Collins served as a Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Kansas City Royals Baseball Organization. He also served as a Graduate Assistant at Springfield College.

A 2017 graduate of Saint Joseph's with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Collins was a member of the Monks Baseball team during his time on campus and a captain during his senior season. He was also awarded the Neile Nelson Award during his senior year. After graduation, he went on to earn a Master of Education in Strength & Conditioning from Springfield College in 2019.

Additionally, Collins holds certifications from the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and USA Weightlifting Certified Coach.
