STANDISH, ME - Julia Ostrowski '10 (Albany, NY) notched her third hat trick of the season and Kayla Nowell '11 (Bridgeton, ME) registered two goals and two assists for the Monks (8-2, 4-0 NAC) in a 7-1 rout over conference opponent Rivier College (1-6, 0-4) on Saturday evening.

Elizabeth Anderson '13 (Cumberland, ME) and Amanda Sebastiao '12 (Uxbridge, MA) also netted goals for the Monks. Sarah Bartell '12 (Exeter, NH) added a pair of assists while Alyssa Dunn '11 (Standish, ME) and Jillian Kimball '10 (Albany Township, ME) chipped in with helpers as well.

Meaghan Johnson '12 (Portland, ME/Cheverus), who recorded one save in 41:19 minutes, and Rachel Varjian '13 (Sandwich, MA) split time in net for the Royal Blue.

Ashley Ruocco tallied the Raider goal in the 54^th minute and Rivier keeper Jenna Beadle made 12 stops between the pipes in the loss.

St. Joe's outshot Rivier 37-4, with 19 shots on goal to just two from the hosts, and held a 22-2 advantage in penalty corners in the lopsided victory.

The Monks will host Salve Regina in a non-conference matchup on Monday at 1:00 PM. Rivier will host Bay Path on Monday at 1:00 PM.
