HOW IT HAPPENED:

After a scoreless first half, the Monks found the scoreboard early in the second stanza when sophomore Libby Pomerleau (Limerick, Maine) lofted a shot over Thomas freshman keeper MacKenzie Oberholzer (Greencastle, Pa.), following a scrum in front of the visitor's cage, at the 47:35 mark.

Saint Joseph's tacked on an insurance goal in the closing minutes when junior Kara Kelly (York, Maine) scored off a rebound on an Alexandra Belaire (Greene, Maine) shot in the 69th minute.
