The Saint Joseph's College Monks took on the Johnson and Wales Wildcats Saturday
afternoon in Providence, Rhode Island. Kickoff began at 12 p.m.
The Monks and Wildcats held an even match for the first 45 minutes of the match.
Senior Goalkeeper
Liam Foley (Middleton, Mass) recorded two saves in the first half for
the Monks while Senior Declan Caster recorded one. A Monks foul 4:54 into the second
half allowed for JWU's Graduate Midfielder Adian Bagley to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead
on a penalty kick for his 10th goal of the season. The Monks did not wait long to rally for

Cole Bishop (Gorham, Maine)
evened the score at 1-1. At 73:00 even, Senior Midfielder Conner Elliott extended the
Wildcats score to 2-1. The assists went to Christopher Vargas and Carlos Andrade. The
Monks fought hard until the end but the Wildcats came out with the win.
The Monks offense was led by Bishop, with one goal and another shot on net.

Gus Ford
(Falmouth, Maine), and Sophomore Midfielder
Patricio Mowa (Luanda, Angola) each
contributed with a shot on the net.
Liam Foley ended the match with 7 total saves.
The Monks will face Anna Maria College on Tuesday, October 29th, at 5 pm in Standish
for the last regular season game of the season.
