Nashua, NH - The Monks (3-16, 0-7 GNAC) played St. Joseph College of Connecticut in the first contest and lost 3-0 (30-10, 30-24, 30-22). The Monks faced off against GNAC foe Rivier College (13-8, 7-0 GNAC) in the second match and were defeated 3-0 (30-6, 30-22, 30-16).

SO Monique Lajoie (Nashua, NH) recorded 21 digs for the day and FYMary Hoyt (Rochester, NH) tallied 8 service aces and 9 kills in the two matches. SO Marcie Gowan (Plymouth, NH) also provided 18 assists on the day.

The Monks travel to Waterville Wednesday, 10/10 to take on the Thomas College Terriers. The match begins at 7:00 PM.
