WATERVILLE, Maine - Katie McCabe (Watertown, Conn.) and Alison Cappelloni (Sudbury, Mass.) both had 19 points to lift the Colby College women's basketball team to a 65-51 non-conference win over Saint Joseph's College on Monday at Wadsworth Gymnasium.

McCabe shot 9-for-12 from the field and added seven rebounds, while Cappelloni had nine rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

The Mules led 18-15 with 8:32 left in the first half and then went on a 13-0 run over the next five minutes to take a 31-15 lead on the way to a 37-22 halftime margin.

Saint Joseph's (8-12) got 15 points and nine rebounds from Marie Lint (Orono, Maine). Alyson Ludwig (Waldoboro, Maine) added 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The Monks return to action this Thursday, February 8th, for a doubleheader with the men's team at the University of New England. Tipoffs are at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
