NEW HAVEN, CT - Saint Joseph's (12-6, 3-1 GNAC) earned a split in a GNAC Volleyball tri-match with Emmanuel and Albertus Magnus on Sunday afternoon. Emmanuel trumped the Monks, 3-0 (21-25, 11-25, 15-25), in the first match and the Royal Blue rebounded to defeat host team Albertus Magnus, 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-7). For the day, Kiah Begley '13 (Berwick, ME/St. Thomas Aquinas) netted 43 assists and Sarah Hawkes '13 (Pownal, ME) recorded 23 kills.

Hawkes continued her impressive play with a .444 attack percentage in the pair of matches, with 23 kills against just 3 errors in 45 attempts.

Jordan Pelczar '12 (Meredith, NH) also played well with 15 digs, 10 kills and 5 aces in the two-match set.

The Monks will play again this Saturday when they host Emerson (11:00 AM) and Lasell (3:00 PM) in a conference tri-match.
