NORTHFIELD, VT – Saint Joseph's (14-9, 4-3 GNAC) lost to Norwich (16-7, 5-2 GNAC), 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-22) in a conference volleyball match on Saturday afternoon. Kiah Begley '13 (Berwick, ME/Saint Thomas Aquinas) registered 17 assists and eight digs in the SJC loss.

Alyssa Grigware '13 (Biddeford, ME) paced the Royal Blue with six kills, Caitlin Cleary '13 (Scarborough, ME) had a team-best five aces and Sarah Coffey '14 (Hanover, MA) collected nine digs in the losing bid.

Norwich held advantages in kills (27-25), attack percentage (.172-.078), assists (24-21) and digs (51-39), while St. Joe's carried an 11-6 lead in service aces on the day.

The Monks will host Maine-Farmington in a non-conference match on Tuesday at 7:00 PM, while Norwich is set to travel to Lasell College for a 7:00 PM meeting on Wednesday.
