STANDISH, Maine – Saint Josephs' College (6-15, 2-5 GNAC) suffered a pair of hard fought losses at the hands of Emmanuel College (17-9, 5-0 GNAC) and Rivier University (17-6, 4-1 GNAC) in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) volleyball tri-match at the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday.

The Monks opened the day with a 3-2 (17-25, 25-22, 25-18, 13-25, 8-15) loss to Emmanuel and finished by losing, 3-0 (22-25, 12-25, 10-25), to Rivier. Junior middle blocker Felicia Wachowiak (Milton, N.H.) led the hosts with 19 kills and 10 total blocks in the two matches combined.
