GORHAM, Maine – University of Southern Maine (4-7) defeated Saint Joseph's College (0-11), 3-0 (25-22, 25-8, 25-15), in a non-conference women's volleyball match on Thursday evening.

Sophomore Sarah Quinn (Dover, N.H.) led the Monks with eight kills and posted a .333 attack percentage while junior Madison Provencher (Rochester, N.H.) added 10 digs and freshman Hanna Holden (Stoughton, Mass.) notched 14 assists, five digs and three kills in the setback.

For the Huskies, Kacey Foerster delivered 15 kills, Sophie Lindsay dealt 22 assists, and Rachel Chill tallied nine digs.

Saint Joseph's will host Colby-Sawyer College (11:00 AM) and Husson University (3:00 PM) in a tri-match on Saturday.
