Newton, MA - A hat trick from the Lasers' JR Zach Gagne (Somerset, MA) capped the victory for GNAC rival Lasell as the SJC men's soccer team lost 5-3 on Saturday. With the loss, the Monks record stands at 2-6-3, 1-4-1 GNAC. The Lasers' record is now 6-5-0, 5-1-0 GNAC.

The SJC Men struck first as SO Andre Cushing (Hampden, ME) scored his second goal of the year in the 28th minute. Cushing added his second goal of the game in the 69th minute by way of a penalty kick. FR Paul Robins (Cornwall, England) scored his fourth goal of the year in the 85th minute to conclude the scoring for the Monks. SO GK Cory Smith (Ellsworth, ME) made 10 saves in the loss.
